Who Will Win American Idol 2013? Our Prediction Based on the Top 7 Results

Now that it’s down to the American Idol 2013 Top 6 finalists, we can't help but start wondering seriousl, “Who will win American Idol Season 12?"

There is certainly no clear answer to that, as the competition is fierce this year. We do feel pretty confident, however, in saying that winner will be a girl. Go ahead and say it, our powers of deduction are amazing! Kidding, kidding. We only hope that the pity votes will discontinue in the next round and we can have it down to just the ladies for the Top 5 this year.

Janelle Arthur’s time may be up soon enough, but the other four girls are serious contenders. Amber Holcomb draws Whitney Houston comparisons each week, and that vocal tone is unparalleled. Candice Glover may not have the widespread appeal or current vibe to win it all, but there’s no denying this girl can blow (as Randy Jackson might say). In the end, though, we’re sticking by our initial opinion that the finale will be between Angie Miller and Kree Harrison.

Only one girl can bring it all home, though, and we predict the last girl standing will be Kree. Angie will certainly give her a run for her money, especially if she has another moment like when she sang her original number during Hollywood Week, but Kree has yet to do anything other than impress the pants off all of us, show after show.

Even with a pinched nerve this week during her rendition of “Piece Of My Heart,” she let Kreedom ring. And, while this is a singing competition, it can’t hurt that we saw in her pre-package this week that Kree’s heart is as big as that upper range. If she continues choosing songs in her wheelhouse, as she’s done amazingly so far, she’s got this thing in the bag.

As of right now, we are TEAM KREE! Who do you think will win it all?
