Would You Use a Color-Enhancing Shampoo on Your Kid?

Tear-free shampoo is a win for any mother to avoid discomfort at bath time, but would you ever consider buying a shampoo that claims to boost your baby’s natural hair color?

Le bébé Coo offers specially formulated shampoos for blonde, brunette, and red heads that are sensitive enough for a baby’s skin and hair. The organic products include vitamins B5 and E, aloe, chamomilla, sage, basil, and rosemary, along with “natural and organic color enhancers extracted from vegetables.”

What does this mean, exactly? We’re not totally sure. It must mean that for the red coloring they use beet extract or something.

We’re also not sure about how in-demand they really are for normal families, but apparently Kristen Cavallari was all about Le bébé Coo at her 2012 baby shower, where she gave the products away in her gift bags.

The luxury mom/baby beauty line has a long way to go to convince us that our little nuggets’ natural highlights could use some help, but how do you feel about the idea? Would you try this color enhancing shampoo on your babe?
