Kim Kardashian Pregnancy Weight: How Much Has She Really Gained?
In case you’ve been trapped under something heavy (Kim Kardashian? Relax — we’re just kidding), you might not have heard about the scandal that is Kim’sPregnancyWeight-Gate. Due to plenty of tabloid photos that show the reality star in an unflattering light, many are implying Kim has gained nearly 60 pounds. InTouch Weekly has recently claimed that Kim has even said she can’t stop eating.
Not so, per Kim on a recent episode of Extra TV. As she said, many have claimed that she is close to 200 pounds. Kanye’s main squeeze says this is way off–as in 60 pounds off. Of course, TMZ didn’t hesitate to make a joke that they were 60 pounds off in the other direction (adding in the weight of her “ego” and “emotional baggage,” of course).
The staffers there joked about the implication that she’s trying to claim she only weighs 140 pounds, which would be less than head honcho Harvey Levin. While most expressed disbelief, one TMZ staffer defended Kim, saying she looks a lot smaller in person.
So the question remains — just how much weight has Kim K gained during her pregnancy thus far? Some news sites are claiming the oft-photographed starlet has only gained 23 pounds. Regardless, a string of celebu-moms have come to Kim’s defense, the latest being Gwyneth Paltrow.
“I think that women should support each other, especially through pregnancy,” Gwyneth said. “It’s a difficult time and I think Kim Kardashian looks absolutely beautiful.”
However, we’re not sure anyone should ever feel too bad for the most famous Kardashian. After all, there are plenty of rumors that Kim will be cashing in — as usual! — on her post-pregnancy weight loss. She’s said to be in talks for a “bootylicious” workout DVD to inspire others to lose weight after having babies.
