Dancing With the Stars 2013: Best and Worst Week 4 Performances

Dancing With the Stars Season 16 was all about telling stories on Week 4 (April 8, 2013). The stars took us back to the best years of their lives and tried to recapture the magic. Some rocked it. Others, not so much. So, who managed to move us, and who needed work? We bring you our picks for the best and worst of the week.

Best: Aly Raisman & Mark Ballas

Mark Ballas choreographed an absolutely stellar contemporary routine to "Titanium” by David Guetta ft. Sia for Aly Raisman. While we call shenanigans on Aly's solo basically being all gymnastics, we can see why the judges scored this top of the pack.

Score: 27/30.

Honorable Mention: Andy Dick & Sharna Burgess

As always, Andy Dick's Viennese Waltz to “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen wasn't the most technically sound (though he is improving). But this week was about telling a story, and with help from Sharna Burgess's wonderful choreography, Andy Dick had the most touching dance of the night.

Score: 21/30.

Honorable Mention: Zendaya Coleman & Valentin Chmerkovskiy

Zendaya Coleman's Samba to “Love on Top” by Beyonce was a ton of fun. It was nice to see her get her diva on, and, as always, her technique was strong.

Score: 26/30.

Worst: Lisa Vanderpump & Gleb Savchenko

We give Lisa Vanderpump credit for dancing at all, but that didn't make this Cha-Cha-Cha to "Celebration” by Kool & the Gang good.

Score: 18/30.

Dis-honorable mention: Victor Ortiz & Lindsay Arnold

We like Victor Ortiz because he really seems to give this competition his all, but maybe his all was too much for this Paso Doble to “We Will Rock You” by Queen, which had more punch than dance.

Score: 18/30.

It's worth noting that this is the first time D.L. Hughley stayed solidly out of the bottom for us. He has impressively improved!
