Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson Make Up on Real Housewives of OC

The friendship between Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney has been rocky, but in The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8, Episode 2, they tried to patch things up.

During Heather Dubrow’s clambake, Vicki and Tamra locked themselves in Fancy Pants’s wine room. (Yes, she has a whole room for her wine. We need to befriend the Dubrows.)

“There’s always been a part of me that’s always known we’re still friends,” Tamra begins. In fact, she sees Vicki as family, so it’s OK when they don’t agree on everything.

Vicki quickly gets to the main problem between the two: Brooks. She can’t be with the man she loves “because of all the negativity that’s out there.” Tamra has been one source of that negativity, but she promised her friend, “I don’t hate Brooks … I was trying to figure him out.”

The southern man was too charming to earn Tamra’s trust. “We’ve been inseparable for five years,” she tells Vicki. “I don’t want a man to come between us.”

It seems like baby steps in mending the relationship, and both women are still wary. Vicki says she’ll forgive Tamra — a little bit — but she won’t forgive.

While Tamra misses the old Vicki, she doesn’t know if she can trust her.

Can’t wait to see what happens next between these two! But time — and wine rooms — heals all wounds.
