The Voice

Cassadee Pope Works With Producer and Songwriter Max Martin on New Record!

Cassadee Pope may have sent her rendition of Miranda Lambert’s emotional ballad “Over You” to the top of the iTunes charts, but we’re certainly not “over” the Season 3 winner of The Voice just yet.

This pop rocker captured America’s hearts with her genuine performances, pure talent, and country crossover sound. Now the Team Blake singer is recording her debut solo album, and it looks like Cassadee’s new music will be well-worth the wait.

“A 10 hour day in the studio has been completed. Now I can check working with Max Martin off of my bucket list,” she tweeted on April 9.

In case you’re unfamiliar with Swedish music producer and songwriter Max Martin, here’s a list of some of the artists he’s worked with: Kelly Clarkson, Christina Aguilera, P!nk, Maroon 5, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Usher, Katy Perry, and Adam Lambert.

He has co-written more than 13 No. 1 hits, including “Since U Been Gone,” “I Kissed a Girl,” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”

Basically, you want Max’s help if you’re looking to make a hit album. And it seems like Cassadee’s almost done with her record.

“Back in Nashville tonight to start rehearsing for the @rascalflatts tour and finish recording the album. It’s getting crazy!” she tweeted.

We can’t wait to hear Cassadee’s original music! Will you buy her album when it comes out? Tell us below!
