Grey’s Anatomy Season 9: Why Does Ben Return?

Grey's Anatomy Season 9 is heading into the home stretch, so of course there's trouble at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. On Season 9, Episode 20: "She's Killing Me" Bailey (Chandra Wilson) found out she might be responsible for a patient's death, and it sounds like things are only going to get worse in Season 9, Episode 21: "Sleeping Monster." Bailey's job and the reputation of the hospital could be at stake.

Fortunately, there's a silver lining to the drama: It's going to bring Bailey’s loving — and damn sexy — hubby, Dr. Ben (Jason Winston George) back to Seattle to support her. We love Dr. Ben (and not just because he's easy on the eyes), and his relationship with Bailey is a breath of fresh air. Hopefully we'll get a chance to see some sweet moments between them while Bailey struggles to figure out what went wrong.

As long as this plot line doesn't end with Bailey being fired, we're happy!
