The Voice’s Luke Edgemon Had a Recurring Role on Glee!
If The Voice Season 4 contestant Luke Edgemon looks familiar to you, it's because this isn't his first time at the television rode. Luke left his hometown of Fayetteville, N.C. to pursue a singing career in Los Angeles, and immediately found his feet. After a few failed audition attempts on American Idol, Luke made the cut and appeared on Season 9 of the hit competition show. Unfortunately, Luke didn't make it past Hollywood week, but the fun didn't stop there.
Luke caught the attention of a Glee producer after his Idol stint, and ended up doing backup work for New Directions before he nabbed a bit part as Dalton Academy Warbler Flint Wilson.
"I absolutely love being a part of such an amazing family. It's definitely a joy for me," Luke told Wetpaint Entertainment during an exclusive interview about his experience on Glee. "I was definitely a huge gleek before becoming a part of the show. It's surreal to me, walking into WHMS. I sort of have to pinch myself every time I do and think, 'I used to watch this on television, and now someone's going to be watching me.'"
Unfortunately, Flint Wilson is no longer a character on Glee, but fans of Luke will get a taste of his amazing vocal chords during The Voice's fourth season as part of Team Shakira!
