Candice Glover Sings “Don’t Make Me Over” on American Idol 2013 Top 6

Candice Glover took on the classic tune "Don't Make Me Over." She was the only singer to get a standing ovation, and it was well-deserved!

Nicki Minaj says, “Oh goodness gracious!” She says the song didn’t even sound old-fashioned at all, and it was like hearing something new and fresh on the radio. She wanted to have a “woman’s revival” after hearing that song. She says Candice was just born to do this.

Randy Jackson uses all of his catch phrases: “In it to win it,” “This is what it’s all about,” “Best vocal of the night," etc.

Mariah Carey tells her, “You took a classic and kept it current and made it you.” She loves it. Keith Urban is all over it too, saying, “That performance alone, you just became in my Top 3 tonight.”
