Bethenny Frankel Says Divorce From Jason Hoppy is “Rough” and “Excruciating” (VIDEO)

Bethenny Frankel may have lived Bethenny Ever After for a few years, but lately, she’s been feeling the opposite. After filing for divorce from her husband, Jason Hoppy, the former Real Housewives of New York star has opened up a few times about her heartbreaking divorce, but today, she let it all out.

While co-hosting Good Day New York on April 11, she revealed her feelings simply: “It’s rough.” Though she’s endured plenty of drama in her 42 years, she explains, “Divorce is the most difficult thing you could ever go through in your entire life ... I never heard how excruciating it is.”

The couple was together for two years, and their separation in January came as a surprise to many fans. So when the host asked if it was a bitter divorce, Bethenny sort of dodged the question, saying, “It's just a brutal unnatural situation and you sort of end up in a situation you thought you'd never be in."

However, things aren’t all bad for the entrepreneur. The latest line of Skinnygirl cocktails is out, and she has 2-year-old daughter Bryn to keep her grounded. She explained that her little girl “brings out the best” in her, is fun, and helps her “recapture her youth.” Aww!

Are you surprised by Bethenny’s honest explanation about her divorce? Watch the video, and then hit the comments with your reactions.
