Grey’s Anatomy Stephanie Edwards: Intern Report Card — Should She Stay?
This season on Grey’s Anatomy, we met a new crop of interns and got to watch as they learned to navigate their way through the surgical training program — and the drama that ensues. One lucky intern, Dr. Stephanie Edwards (Jerrika Hinton), even jumped right into a relationship with one of our favorite doctors, Jackson Avery!
It’s time to find out how well Stephanie has done so far in her first year as a surgical intern! We will be grading her on her intelligence, or surgical skills, her interaction with the other doctors, and how interested she keeps us in finding out what will happen to her next.
Let’s see how she did!
Intelligence: Incomplete. It’s hard to judge Stephanie’s surgical skills when we haven’t seen much of them yet. Maybe next season we will get to test her medical smarts.
Interaction: C. Cristina calls her Grumpy, and not for no reason — Stephanie’s crankiness only seems to subside when she’s around her boyfriend, Jackson. But we have a feeling Jackson’s going to break her heart in the future — be careful, Stephanie!
Interest: B-. Outside of her relationship with Jackson, Stephanie wasn’t given a lot of screen time this season, unless it was to throw in a snarky comment here and there (Cristina 2.0, anyone?). We would love to see Stephanie spend more time in the OR next time around!
Do want Stephanie to stick around the hospital? Sound off in the comments below!
