Jacqueline Laurita Testifies: Johnny the Greek Was “Looking For a Fight”
And now we’re finally starting to see the aftermath of last month’s Real Housewives of New Jersey “brawl” between cast members Jacqueline Laurita, her husband Chris, Joe Gorga, and non-castmate John “Johnny the Greek” Karagiorgis. The melee happened March 31 at Kim D.’s Posche 2 boutique and it ended in a total mess. Now the four are dueling in Ridgewood’s Municipal Court and Jac testified in on April 12 saying that John came to the salon “looking for...a fight.”
According to NorthJersey.com, last week John testified in court that he was ambushed by all three stars and he was also held back by security in which he sustained a broken nose, bruises, lumps, and trauma. It was enough to let Judge David Pfund charge the trio with assault and terroristic threats, but it didn’t end there. Now, it was the RHoNJ stars turn to tell their side of the story.
On Friday, April 12, Jacqueline testified in court that not only was John (who wasn’t present during the hearing) was asked not to attend, but when he showed up, he had a bodyguard that appeared to be armed and John was dressed “in clothes like he was ready for a fight.” What?!
Then Jacqueline went on to say that just before the fight went down, a “tsunami of people” came in the boutique for its grand opening and that’s when John “lunged” towards Jac yelling “I’ll f—ing kill you” with a “crazy look in his eyes like he was on drugs or something.”
Jacqueline told the court that John was obsessed with the cast of the show, desperately wanted to be on TV, and harassed her and her family in person and on Twitter.
“Somehow, he was fixated on me and the other cast members, and would show up at events and run his mouth, saying things about me as a mother, telling me to stay off social media,” she said.
Chris and Joe, who were also at the hearing testified that they fought John in self-defense because he’s John was “obsessed” with the RHoNJ stars, and “stalked them for years” to the point where Joe’s wife, Melissa Gorga, got depressed over it.
In the end, it was determined that John would be formally charged with three counts of harassment and assault and two counts of making terroristic threats.
