American Idol: Where Are They Now? Season 11’s Heejun Han

This jokester and BFF to Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips charmed everyone with his hilarious antics, but his performance of Leon Russell’s “A Song for You” sent him packing from the Top 9 despite a standing ovation from all three judges. Jennifer Lopez reportedly wanted to use the judges’ save on Heejun, but there wasn’t a unanimous agreement to do so.

After his time on American Idol, Han toured various talk shows and sang "God Bless America" for the New York Jets. He also appeared on the cover of the July 2013 issue of Mom and I Family Magazine, a Korean-American publication.

Since leaving Idol, the Korean-born singer doesn’t seem to have any major projects in the works. Most recently, he joined the rest of the Season 11 finalists for the American Idols Live! Tour last summer, and judged a K-Pop competition at New York University in September 2012. He also performed in the fall at the New Jersey Korean Thanksgiving Festival, sang for the New York Jets again with "The Star-Spangled Banner", and was a guest judge for the Kollaboration finale in Glendale, California.
