Grey’s Anatomy Burning Question: Will Addison Return to Seattle?

Addison Montgomery’s (Kate Walsh) California journey on Private Practice may be over, but will Addison return to where we first laid on eyes on her fiery red hair and devilish smirk … on Grey's Anatomy?

Kate has spoken about a potential return to Seattle and said that she’s open to the idea. And now that her schedule is just a little less hectic, could McDreamy’s ex and her salmon-colored scrubs be roaming the hallways of the newly named Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital? We’re thinking maybe.

We know it would be difficult for Addison to return to a Mark (Eric Dane)-free environment, but it might be nice for her to see Derek (Patrick Dempsey) after everything that went down after the plane crash. However, there’s one particular circumstance we can’t help but think about Addison getting involved in: Meredith’s (Ellen Pompeo) pregnancy. And considering it wasn’t very long ago that Mer suffered from a hostile uterus, we don’t think it would be too crazy to expect things to get a little bumpy (no pun intended) for our favorite dark-and-twisty attending.

So if Meredith starts experiencing any sort of pregnancy problems, you know exactly what Derek is going to do: He’s going to call in the best. And it just so happens that the best in the baby business is his ex-wife Addison.

Will Addison be the savior who swoops in and saves MerDer's baby boy? Plus, if we remember correctly, Addison and Callie (Sara Ramirez) were pretty close back in the day, and we’re sure Callie would love to see her.

Not to mention that Adele (Loretta Devine) just died, and Bailey (Chandra Wilson) got married. Geez Addie, what’s it going to take for you to return?

Do you want to see Addison back in Seattle, if only for a little while?
