Tom, who thinks OUAT is a "great show" — and apparently his "eldest daughter is a massive [OUAT] fan," awww — said filming was "great fun." We aren't at all surprised that he found the cast and crew "supportive and welcoming," but it's always nice to hear good things about the people who bring OUAT to life.
As for what we can expect from Robin Hood, Tom explained that the classic Disney version of the character was "at the forefront of [his] mind" when reinventing the role for OUAT — "with a twist of Kevin Costner and slightly less foxy!"
Oh, and fun fact: Tom didn't actually audition for OUAT. He was trying out for an ABC pilot when the casting director decided he'd make the perfect Robin Hood. We can't wait to see him in action.
