Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

Tamra Barney Wants Vicki Gunvalson to Be Happy With Brooks Ayers

Tamra Barney and Vicki Gunvalson’s huge falling out from The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 7 was a result of Vicki’s then-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers.

Although Vicki remains tight lipped about the current state of her relationship with Brooks, she won’t let Tamra forget the hurt she caused last year. In Season 8, Episode 3, the former BFFs confronted their feud head-on over an intimate dinner.

“You knew I was struggling in life, and I never ever felt like you really cared,” Vicki said to Tamra.

Tamra responded, “You could have come to me at any time and said, ‘This is what I’m feeling.’ This is what friends do.”

“I’m just telling you our friendship failed for a whole year, and it wasn’t because I wanted it to fail,” Vicki Guvalson shot back.

Tamra told Vicki she has no problem with Brooks, but she later tells the cameras, “It’s probably easier for Vicki to blame me instead of her own daughter. If she blames me for it, she doesn't have to feel like her daughter turned on her.”

Briana has certainly made no secret of the fact that she dislikes her mother’s boyfriend. Tamra Barney asks what she can do to help, but Vicki herself isn’t sure what she needs from her friend.

“I’m under construction right now,” Vicki said. “I don’t know what’s going to happen.”

Despite not being the biggest fan of Brooks, Tamra is content to let Vicki figure things out on her own.

I just want you to know that I want you to be happy, and if it’s with Brooks, it’s with Brooks,” Tamra told Vicki as the two cheers to a truce over wine.

Are you glad Vicki and Tamra are close again?
