The Voice

Was The Voice 2013’s Amy Whitcomb on The Sing-Off?

If you blinked, you might have missed Amy Whitcomb’s blind audition on The Voice 2013. Unfortunately, the talented singer was lumped into a montage of auditions and we only saw a few seconds of her singing Kelly Clarkson’s “Because of You.”

But in her brief appearance, you might have noticed that this singer looked particularly familiar. That’s because Amy has appeared on two seasons of The Sing-Off. Amy first performed with BYU Noteworthy in Season 1 of the show and after being eliminated, she decided to create a supergroup of eliminated female contestants.

This group, named Delilah, performed in Season 3 of the show, and Amy was a soprano and one of the lead singers throughout the competition.

The ladies made it several weeks into the show before bowing out while singing Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor.” Amy had several standout performances including her wailing rendition of Aerosmith’s “Dream On,” which rivals Amanda Brown’s rendition from The Voice Season 3. (Yeah, we said it).

Amy’s definitely bringing impressive range and powerhouse vocals to Team Adam this season. Did you know about Amy’s history with The Sing-Off? Watch some of her performances and tell us below!
