The Friends cast is never, ever, ever getting back together — at least not in an official Friends reunion.
Rumors keep making the rounds, including a fun fake ad for a Thanksgiving 2014 reunion, and even though they keep getting shot down, there's always the idea that maybe someday it will happen.
Late Tuesday night, Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman told E! News the latest reunion season rumor wasn't true, and a movie reunion will never happen. She basically said to give up.
In May of 2012, Lisa Kudrow told MSNBC of a reunion, “I don't think it will ever happen whether any of us want it to happen or not. I don't think any of us would do it unless [Friends co-creators] David Crane and Marta Kauffman wrote it.” Sounds like Marta is out. Do you think there's still a glimmer of hope for her to change her mind, or for David to jump in? Or maybe they could do what the Seinfeld cast did on Curb Your Enthusiasm and reunite again in a less official way.
Do you think they should keep trying for a Friends reunion of some sort or leave well enough alone? Some reunions just end up being a letdown, so maybe this is for the best.
