Dancing With the Stars 2013: Ingo Rademacher Says He Was “A Little Screwed on the Scores”– Exclusive

Dancing With the Stars 2013 contestant Ingo Rademacher has managed to stay relatively safe throughout the first five weeks of competition — but after his Week 5 Cha-Cha-Cha failed to impress the judges, the General Hospital star found himself toward the bottom of the Leaderboard.

Are Ingo and his Dancing With the Stars pro Kym Johnson in danger of going home this week? Wetpaint Entertainment caught up with Ingo at the DWTS after-party held at Mixology 101 in Los Angeles, and here’s what he had to say about his low scores and why he thinks he and Kym got “a little screwed.”

Were you disappointed with your scores this week?

I think whoever goes first – and we’ve gone first twice – you always get a little screwed on the scores. If we could have gotten one 8, it would have fairer. But a bunch of 7’s put us on the bottom.

Do you know what you’ll be dancing next week?

We have to get through tomorrow night. After that, I don’t know what we have next week. I don’t really care to know what dance we have until Wednesday, cause after Monday night, Tuesdays are our only days off. Tuesday mornings, I just hang out with the family as much as I can, we’ll walk down to the coffee shop in Venice and just hang out.

Who’s your biggest competition?

I think Sean and Victor are my biggest competition. I’m not quite there with Aly yet – if I step it up, then maybe. But definitely Sean and Victor.

You’re halfway through the competition now. Are you relieved you’ve made it this far?

Everyone keeps saying we’re halfway through the competition, but, really, we haven’t eliminated that many people. I think if you make it to the final six, then you really start to feel it.

Have you asked your General Hospital co-star Kelly Monaco for any advice?

Kelly gave me some advice in the beginning, but honestly I haven’t had any time to talk to her – or anyone – during the show. It’s insane how much time’s involved. Unless you’re doing it, you have no idea how crazy it is.
