Dancing With the Stars 2013 Week 6: Who Is Doing What for Stevie Wonder Night?

"My Cherie Amour." 'Isn't She Lovely." "Part-Time Lover." "You Are the Sunshine of My Life." There are soooo many good Stevie Wonder songs, and we can't wait to see which ones were chosen for the top eight couples of Dancing With the Stars Season 16, Week 6. We know at least two of the songs, because the team dances, captains and songs were revealed on the Week 5 Results Show. So here's that intel, along with what the couples have revealed up to this point about the Monday, April 22 Performance Show.

Team Paso, “Higher Ground”

Captain: Zendaya

Team Samba, “Superstition”

Captain: Kellie
(Team Pickler Dick in action!)

Kellie Pickler & Derek Hough, Quickstep

Everyone is thrilled for Stevie Wonder week, but Kellie has an interesting connection. "I'm actually really excited," Kellie told On the Red Carpet after Monday’s show, "because when I was on [American] Idol we had Stevie Wonder Week and I had the honor of meeting him and we all performed one of his songs, and it was awesome. I'm excited about it." Their dance is the Quickstep. "You know what the good news is, it's in this" — Derek grabbed Kellie in hold — "which we've just done. Yay!"

Sean Lowe & Peta Murgatroyd, Samba

On the other end of the spectrum is Sean. "I must admit, I don't know a ton about Stevie Wonder," Sean admitted to OTRC after Monday's show. "Of course I know who he is, I know he's legendary and I know a lot of his music. But I'm not a fan, I haven't always followed Stevie. So it will be interesting to see what dance we get and what song we're dancing to." On April 17, Peta tweeted, "Thank you so much for getting @SeanLowe09 through to next week! It's #Sambatime #TeamMurgalo HERE WE GO!"

Jacoby Jones & Karina Smirnoff, Quickstep

"You know I think dancing to Stevie Wonder is pretty incredible to begin with, and looking at the dances that we have available that we haven't done yet, I'm excited," Karina told OTRC after the Monday Performance Show. (No one got to talk to OTRC after Tuesday's show, so they didn't have too many specifics about Week 6.) Jacoby said, "I'm old-school. You bring on Stevie, you're gonna see some soul." Karina tweeted more details on April 17: "What a crazy day yesterday! Result show, team rehearsal and then red eye to New Orleans! It's gonna be a busy week! Now, time 2 go quickstep."

Aly Raisman & Mark Ballas, Foxtrot

Mark told OTRC he's so excited to dance to Stevie Wonder. "Can't wait. Love it. Stevie. My man. Grew up listening to Stevie when I was a kid. My house was just Stevie, Michael [Jackson] and Prince. That's all I would listen to growing up."

Aly explained their Week 6 plans in her Parade blog. "We have the Foxtrot this week. Mark says it’s pretty similar to the Quickstep, just a little bit slower, so I guess I’ll find out at rehearsals today! We also have a group number this week and our dance style is the Samba, so it’s really fun and upbeat and exciting. It will be great to have that competition between the teams. I’m also really excited about Stevie Wonder performing. I really love the song that I have for my dance. I’m not allowed to say what it is yet, but it’s my favorite song by him, so I’m excited and can’t wait!" Hmm. So keep in mind, whatever song she dances to on Monday is her favorite!

Ingo Rademacher & Kym Johnson, Salsa

Kym told OTRC she'd love to make it through to Week 6 to dance to a Stevie Wonder song. "He's like my favorite." Ingo also said he's a big fan. In this backstage ABC video, Ingo not only said they had the Salsa next week, he showed off some moves. "NOW the hips are moving side-to-side," Kym complained, wondering where this was for their Cha-cha. "Really?"

Victor Ortiz & Lindsay Arnold, ??

Lindsay echoed Kym’s excitement about Stevie Wonder Night and fear that they might not make it there. Victor & Lindsay did make it, but they have yet to share details on their dance. Stay tuned...

Zendaya Coleman & Val Chmerkovskiy, Cha-Cha-Cha

After Monday's show, Val just wanted to enjoy their top score of the week, not try to worry about Week 6 and Stevie Wonder. Maks told OTRC a whole story about how meticulous Val is with his preparations, and he is basically the opposite himself. It led into a discussion about lessons their father taught them. "'If you fail to prepare, you [Maks] missed that. He was on the top bunk. It was literally over his bed." Maks countered, "I didn't miss it. Our dad also right next to it wrote 'It's the end result that counts.' I skipped straight to that." Ha! See? This is why The Brothers Chmerkovskiy need their own TV show! At this point, Zendaya & Val have yet to reveal details on their Week 6 dance. UPDATE: Val tweeted, "Wow if this ChaCha is actually gonna come together..... Lets do this #grindin #bodywantstokillme #beastmode"

Andy Dick & Sharna Burgess, Samba

One of Andy's favorite Stevie songs is "Superstition." Sharna told that to OTRC Monday night before they knew their dance, song or group dance status. As it happens, they are on Team Samba (aka Team Pickler Dick) and “Superstition” is that team’s song. So that’s good! And it sounds like they have the Samba as the individual dance this week too. Lucky guy!
