Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Premiere Spoilers: Which of These Questions Will Be Answered?

Who locked Spencer in the steam room? Who killed Garrett? Why did Red Coat save the girls? Pretty Little Liars showrunner Marlene King promises the answer to one of these questions in the Season 4 premiere. We looked at the odds (and importance) of each burning question.

Who locked Spencer in the steam room?

Spencer assumed that it was Toby who locked her in the steam room, a potentially fatal trap, in Season 2, Episode 20: “Hot Water” because Mona was out of town for the academic decathlon meet. If it wasn’t Mona and (we’re seriously hoping) it wasn’t Toby, then who was it? Could it have been a “B” Team member? Melissa had the easiest access, but we can’t imagine she would try to kill her own sister, regardless of her “B” Team affiliation Could it have been Jenna or Shana? Or was it someone else entirely? We weigh this question as the second most-likely to be answered.

Who killed Garrett?

It’s most likely that this is the question that will be answered, as PLL writer Bryan Holdman tweeted last month that someone (probably Mona) would be answering these questions in the Season 4 premiere. We do want to see this question answered, as murder is pretty serious business. Also, if we assume the person who killed Garrett was the same person who tried to kill Aria, the Liars need to know!

Why did Red Coat save the girls?

We’re so confused right now about the relationship between the “A” Team, the “B” Team, and Red Coat. How are they related? Are they working at cross-purposes? And, if Red Coat saved the Liars from the fire, why has she seemingly been torturing them for a season? This question is probably the least likely to be answered, as Red Coat’s identity and motives are one of the central mysteries of the show, but we sure would like to know.

Which of these questions do you want to see answered in the Season 4 premiere? Which questions do you think will be answered? Let us know in the comments below!
