Real Housewives of New York’s Aviva Drescher Offers Help to Boston Bombing Victims

Many celebrities have stepped forward with their condolences and offers of help in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing on Monday. The Real Housewives of New York star Aviva Drescher, however, can relate to the victims more than most, as she, like many of the victims of the bombing, lost a limb due to a tragic incident.

"To anyone who has suffered limb loss, I am here for information and guidance," Aviva told Radar Online. "I would love to talk with anyone, listen to their story and give any advice or support they need."

Aviva added that "this is a vile tragedy, but a time to unite with compassion."

She even offered up her email address, info@advivadrescher.com calling "for those who have lost limbs or family members" to contact her if they want a supportive ear.

Aviva is undoubtedly a good resource. Beyond knowing, personally, the challenges that come with losing a limb, she's also, as we all saw on Real Housewives of New York, deeply involved with charities benefiting those who are missing limbs. She probably knows exactly where to point people looking for more help in this hard time.

Good on Aviva, and our thoughts are with the victims.
