Did Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth Postpone Wedding?

UPDATE: If you're not sure about Life & Style's source, how about People's? A week after L&S's story, a People magazine source reiterated that Miley & Liam are still engaged, but their wedding was pushed back. "They want to figure out their life together before they get married," the source said, adding that they originally wanted to tie the knot this summer. "They're still engaged and living together. They just realized that there is no rush with the wedding and that it's better that they wait a bit." So ... basically, same as the story below.

Original story, from April 10:

Just two days ago, Elsa Pataky told E! News she and husband Chris Hemsworth were "very excited" for Chris's little brother Liam's wedding to fiancee Miley Cyrus. "We just want them to live a happy life," Chris added.

So it's strange to see a new story out of Life & Style claiming the wedding was put on hold, with Elsa telling Life & Style, also on April 8, "If they get married, it would be nice to go."

IF they get married? That sounds more hesitant, but it could just be a case of misunderstood quotes. However Life & Style also quoted some unnamed insider who said Miley & Liam were supposed to be married this June in Palm Springs, "But there have been so many problems with them, they thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment."

This insider continued, "They aren't ready. Their families are both concerned. They don’t want to see Miley and Liam get married and then get divorced."

No one wants them to get married and divorced. If they are talking through their issues, that's great. It's the mature thing to do. E! says Liam and Miley have been "making major healthy strides in their relationship," so even if it's true that they postponed their original wedding plans, it might just be the smart thing to do.
