Glee 4×19 “Sweet Dreams” Best and Worst Songs — Do You Agree?

Glee manages to pack an insane number of songs into each episode, which means there will always be a few standouts, along with the inevitable dud or two. We've narrowed the performances from Season 4, Episode 19: “Sweet Dreams,” down to the very best and the coulda-done-without. Do you agree with our picks?

Best Performance of the Night: Rachel and New Directions’ “Don’t Stop Believin’”

“Next to Me” blew us away, since we can’t get enough Rachel (Lea Michele) and Shelby ’s (Idina Menzel) duets. But how do we not crown Rachel’s unbelievable and sob-worthy audition? Seeing the original New Directions gang back together was priceless, not to mention that Rachel’s soaring vocals were impeccable. Give her the part already, judges! Come to think of it, is there anything Journey can’t do?

Worst Performance of the Night: Finn and Puck’s “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (To Party!)”

We get that this was meant as more of a fun celebration than perhaps an actual song performance. Still, the shouted, uninteresting vocals ended up turning the song into such a drag. Also, in reference to the lyrics, we’re not sure why your mom throwing away “your best porno mag” would affect a party, but we do know that’s a party we wouldn’t want to be at.

I would have chosen differently.

I totally agree!
