Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper Film Halts Shoot Amid Boston Manhunt
The hustle is on hold.
Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper's new film, American Hustle, had been shooting in Boston but has halted production as authorities search for suspects linked to the Boston Marathon bombings, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
"The production is heeding the governor’s request 'to remain indoors,'" explains a Sony spokesperson, which is releasing the film.
The movie began filming last month in Boston and last week moved to Worcester, which is 46 miles west of Boston. This week, it returned to Boston but has been put on hold as the manhunt continues.
Bradley visited victims of the marathon bombing on April 18.
The film, directed by Silver Linings Playbook director David O. Russell, is about a sting operation to bring down a U.S. Congressman in the '70s.
The movie has been making headlines for its crazy fashion styles, including Jennifer's big hair and Bradley's perm.
It is unclear when filming will resume.
Sadly, this means we won't be getting to look at hot pics of Bradley doing the serious-actor thing for the time being. Bummer.
