Adam Levine and Maroon 5 Nominated For 13 Billboard Music Awards!
Not only does Adam Levine have one of this season’s strongest teams on The Voice 2013, but his music career is also the best it’s ever been. His band, Maroon 5, released the album Overexposed in June 2012 and has gone on to top the charts and tour the world. Now Maroon 5 has been nominated for a total of 13 Billboard Music Awards this year, blowing most of the other nominated artists out of the water.
The pop rock group has been nominated for: Top Artist, Top Hot 100 Song (“Payphone” and “One More Night”), Top Duo/Group, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Digital Songs Artists, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Pop Artist, Top Pop Album, Top Radio Song (“Payphone” and “One More Night”), and Top Pop Song (“Payphone” and “One More Night”).
Maroon 5 will be going up against superstars like Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, and One Direction, but with the band dominating the nominees list and even going against itself in a few categories, we’re sure they’ll bring home some new golden microphones.
And Adam isn’t the only Voice coach nominated for the BBMAs. Usher received a nomination for Top R&B Artist and Top R&B Album for his record Looking 4 Myself. And Colombian superstar Shakira is nominated for Top Latin Artist.
