On April 23, Team Adam Levine’s singers Duncan Kamakana and Sarah Simmons belted out a duet to “Wanted You More” by Lady Antebellum. The pairing came as a bit of a problem as both powerhouse vocalists struggled independently and collectively. Duncan had trouble with his deep voice swallowing the sound necessary to execute the male harmonies, while Sarah failed to hit the trills needed on certain lyrics. Collectively the pair had a hard time harmonizing, causing coach Adam to have the pair practice together a lot more.

Both competitors entered the ring, singing the country ballad with as much passion and conviction they could muster, but when the time came to choose a victor, Adam went with Sarah.
