Mary Miranda vs. Cáthia: Who Deserved to Win the Battle Round on The Voice 2013?

The claws came out during Mary Miranda and Cáthia's jaw-dropping performance of Shakira's Spanish breakup song, "Antes De La Seis,” during The Voice Season 4!

Both these ladies were more than a little competitive while practicing Shak's latin hit (Cáthia even accused Mary of stepping on her lyrics — burn!), but once they got on that stage their voices were a match made in heaven. Much like us + Adam Levine.

The judges were floored by Team Shakira's songstresses and their dulcet tones (Adam even said, "That was beautiful, didn't understand a word of it, obviously, but I felt all of it"), but after much deliberation Shak chose Mary to advance to Knockouts. "You're like cotton candy," Shakira mused. "The winner of this battle is Mary."

Trust us, Shakira's decision was more than a little controversial! Not only did Usher accuse this pro belly dancer of being narcissistic (oh, no he did not), he was so shocked that Shakie rejected Cáthia that he pressed the steal button!

We're thrilled that both these ladies are safe, but who do you think Shakira should have picked? Hit the poll!
