Once Upon a Time Season 2, Episode 20: “The Evil Queen” Promo: 5 Things We Learned

We're constantly looking for clues about what's coming up next on Once Upon a Time Season 2, and what better source of info than the promo itself? The new ABC promo tells us a lot about what's going to happen in Season 2, Episode 20: “The Evil Queen” and the rest of the season, so we took a close look to find out exactly what we can expect.

Greg Mendell and Tamara kidnapped Captain Hook and brought him back to Storybrooke, hoping he’ll help them wreak havoc on the town and its fairy tale residents. “How can you help me?” Hook questions. “We know how to kill fairy tale creatures,” Tamara explains. However, it looks like Hook is going to do something worse...

Hook teams up with Regina?! While we can’t be certain that he’ll accept, Hook is not only in deep conversation with Regina, but she offers for them to “escape the total destruction of Storybrooke” — that is, if she can trust him. And on that note, there’s one surprising person turning against her...

Henry calls Regina a “villain”! We know that Regina knows about the magic beanstalks, which means she’s going to try to get everyone back to the Enchanted Forest, but Henry doesn’t approve of her ideas. When she says it is her “chance to be the hero,” he exclaims, “Not if you kill everyone! You’re a villain.” Ouch.

Snow White helps the Evil Queen! It’s not what you think, OUAT fans — the Evil Queen disguises herself as a mere peasant to try to kill Snow White. Of course, the kind lady immediately helps the disguised queen, which could change things for them. However, she does owe...

Rumplestiltskin gives the Evil Queen a favor. We’re not sure which instance of the Evil Queen owing Rumple this is, but when he helps disguise her as a peasant, but we know his magic always comes as a price. In the clip, we see Rumple’s signature grin as the voiceover says, “Whoever holds the magic controls the fate of them all.” Ruh-roh.

Catch the episode on Sunday, April 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
