Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 5: Andy Cohen Says a “Force of Nature” Plays Role
The teaser trailer for Season 5 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been released and it’s only a matter of time before another trailer comes out with a montage of the blowouts and makeups we’re accustomed to. It also means that we’ll be hearing more about what to expect from the show, and sure enough H’wives mogul, Andy Cohen, dished about Season 5 with Jersey’s Queen of Gab, Wendy Williams.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey premieres on June 2. “I have such high hopes,” said Wendy on her April 22 show. After Andy alerted Wendy that June 2 is also his birthday (happy early birthday, Andy!) he told the former radio host “Oh, they will be matched, your high hopes. It’s really good.”
When Wendy asked the mogul about the relationship between co-stars Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, Andy told Wendy how the dark reunion special left him uncertain with the direction of the show.
“It was so dark and it was so deep and we said how are we going to go forward with this show when there are clearly such divides. What happened was a force bigger than these ladies. Mother Nature, came in and this season starts with Hurricane Sandy devastating all of their Jersey Shore houses and really it kind of resets their frames of mind, kinda shows them what’s more important. So it’s a roller coaster and it’s really interesting to see how that moves forward.”
So, is the new trailer supposed to represent how their bonds have grown stronger since Mother Nature intervened? We’ll just have to wait and see!
Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Sunday June 2 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo. Will you tune in? Tell us below!
