Should Shirtless Justin Bieber Cover Up? Matthew McConaughey’s Verdict
Matthew McConaughey is 43-years-old but — when he's not losing scary amounts of weight for a role — he has the kind of body a guy half his age would envy. Like, say, 19-year-old Justin Bieber. Justin loves to be shirtless — while recovering at the hospital, or while going through security at the airport, etc.
Matthew — who also loves to be shirtless, to arguably greater effect — talked to MTV News about his new movie Mud, and they asked if Justin would be Matthew's shirtless heir apparent, or if maybe he was an unworthy heir. The reporter added that Justin has taken some flak for all of his shirtlessness.
"Really?" Matthew said. "Well, he keeps doing it in airports right?"
MTV asked if Matthew was making an official ruling — shirts must be ON at airports? "No, no, no, no, no," the Magic Mike star clarified. "I'm not saying you've got to wear a shirt in an airport — especially, I think, he's flying private, [so] he can wear whatever he wants." So what's his message to JB, on when taking your shirt off is appropriate? Matthew looked right at the camera. "[It's] appropriate wherever you say it's appropriate. It's your shirt." (Nooooooo! Take it back, Matthew!)
Alas, the shirtless tribe leader has spoken. But, for the record, we're still with Olivia Wilde on this one.
