The former Bachelor was surprised to be there — especially since he and Peta Murgatroyd had a total score of 46 out of 60, which tied them for fourth place out of eight. But the middle of the pack can be a dangerous place, as Sean and Peta learned under the red lights of the Results Show, when they came thisclose to going home.
"I was kind of in a state of disbelief," Sean told E! News. "I didn't think I would've fallen that far to the bottom two." Their scores weren’t that bad, which means they didn’t get enough fan votes — either because people assumed they were safe, forgot to vote, or simply weren’t impressed by Sean’s dancing.
"This thing's a roller coaster,” Sean told On the Red Carpet. “When you're safe on Tuesdays it feels great, when you're in the bottom two it feels like you've been punched in the stomach." (At least he has hard abs!) Peta told OTRC Sean has to be a “changed dancer” on Latin Week 7. They have the Rumba, and he’s just going to give her 100 percent of his focus and attention to think through all his steps.
Do you think Sean will be the next to go home, or was being in the Bottom Two this week just a fluke?
