Jenelle Evans and Courtland Rogers Face Jail Time if They Contact Each Other!
Jenelle Evans shocked fans when news of her arrest on April 23 hit the internet. Not only was the Teen Mom 2 star booked for heroin possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and simple possession of a controlled substance, she also faces charges of simple assault for allegedly hitting husband, Courtland Rogers, with a piece of furniture.
Meanwhile, Courtland also faces a slew of charges, including assault on a female. As we all know, this isn't the first time Jenelle and Courty have gotten into a physical fight, but it is the first time they've both been hauled to jail for domestic abuse. And it looks there are major repercussions...
"Courtland and Jenelle are not allowed to have any contact with each other whatsoever, even as husband and wife," Jenelle's lawyer, Dustin Sullivan told Us Weekly. "That is going to stay in place until the case is resolved or unless the judge changes that order. And I'm confident that there will not be any judge to change that order."
If Jenelle and Courtland violate their order, they could face up to 30 days in jail. And it doesn't look like these two are allowed to contact each other online either, which means Twitter is a no-go! "It could be argued as such," Dustin explained. "My instructions were no contact."
Jenelle is scheduled to be in court on May 14 for a hearing on her drug charges, and again on June 3 at 9:30 a.m. for the assault charges. Check back in with Wetpaint Entertainment for more developments in her ongoing case!
