Jenelle Evans Pays Outstanding Child Support, Warrant For Arrest Dropped!
Looks like things are slowly (super, duper slowly) starting to turn around for Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans. The infamous reality star was arrested on April 23 after police found 12 "bindles" of heroin in her possession, as well as plastic wrapping papers, a glass pipe, and illegal Percocet. Jenelle was also charged with simple assault for hitting hubby, Courtland Rogers. To make matters worse, at the time of her arrest, Jenelley was served with a warrant for failing to pay her mom, Barbara Evans, child support.
The good news? Jenelle seems to have worked things out with her mom. "There is no longer a warrant out for Jenelle when it comes to child support," Jenelle's attorney, Dustin R.T. Sullivan, tells E! News. "She paid her child support yesterday. It was about $360."
Phew! It's no secret that Jenelle isn't super responsible when it comes to managing her finances, but while we aren't surprised that she fell behind on child support payments, we're shocked that Barbara would press charges.
These two have been getting along swimmingly as of late. As you know, Barbara has full custody of Jenelle’s 3-year-old son, Jace, and Babs even let Jenelle hang with the tyke on April 20. We assumed they were able to work out their financial issues privately, but that’s obviously not the case.
Sigh, mo' money mo' problems.
