Nashville Spoiler: Season 1 Finale Will Feature an Explosion!

Watch out, Music Cityeans, because ish is about to get dangerous like MJ on Nashville. According to local paper, The Tennessean, producers issued a request to residents in one part of town alerting them of some dangerous film conditions as they film the Season 1 finale on April 30.

“Normally we are open to passersby watching us film,” producers explained to local residents in an issued letter. “In this case, it will not be safe to be anywhere near this filming and we respectfully request that you stay clear of the area.”

So, what exactly is happening? Something is blowing up — and it’s not Avery’s (Jonathan Jackson) career (zing)! “(W)e will need to use a special effect that will create a small explosion,” producers explain. “It will be fairly loud.”

Crews will be filming for 12 hours at an intersection, with further cranes, lights, and equipment being set up in an adjacent empty field.

Okay, color us intrigued. Considering they specified that filming would happen in an intersection, we’re guessing some sort of car-related incident. Is it a car bomb from an angry fan or lover? Unlikely. Nashville doesn’t seem like that kind of show, and other than pissing fans off every time the show goes off the air, the show seems to settle drama with harsh words, not violence.

Also interesting is the inclusion of another intersection and the field. Perhaps a car crash occurs — maybe Will (Chris Carmack) tests fate just a little too much? And if that’s the case, could he have precious cargo on board? Like, perhaps a certain blonde ingenue he’s been getting awfully close to?

Share your best conspiracy theories and then tune in for the Season 1 finale on Wednesday, May 22 at 10/9c.
