American Idol

Which Was Your Favorite American Idol 2013 Top 4 Performance?

The American Idol judges seem to have made their decision for who will win Season 12, and all signs point to Amber Holcomb. The young singer exuded so much “star quality,” as Mariah Carey said tonight, that she wowed everyone with her performances tonight.

But not everyone agrees with the judges, which leads us to ask: Which was your favorite American Idol 2013 Top 4 performance of the evening? The ladies chose two songs, one of their own personal taste and another “one hit wonder” tune.

Amber kicked of the night with Celine Dion’s “Power of Love,” a somewhat safe song she actually breathed fresh life into. She later went old school with the Richard Harris/Donna Summer disco track “MacArthur Park.” The judges loved it, even though Jimmy Iovine called it cheesy.

Candice Glover continued to give reliable performances, first taking on Drake’s “Find Your Love” and then the Bee Gee’s “Emotions.” The judges praised her efforts, but didn’t seem to have the same fawning attitude they had over Amber.

Despite her strong vocals, Kree Harrison caught some flack from the judges for her song choices. First up, she sang Susan Tedeschi’s “Hurt So Bad,” and later she performed Procol Harum’s “A Whiter Shade of Pale.” While the judges agreed Kree can sing practically anything, Keith Urban said she needs to choose her songs more carefully, while Nicki Minaj feels like Kree’s inner spark is fading a bit.

Amber’s biggest competition tonight may very well be Angie Miller, who wowed the judges with her piano-accompanied rendition of Jessie J’s “Who You Are” and Julie London’s “Cry Me a River.”

Tell us which performance was your favorite by voting in the poll below!

It's too hard to choose!

There were definitely some standouts!
