Dancing With the Stars Judge Bruno Tonioli: The Voice Shouldn’t Be Competing With Us

Hit competition shows Dancing With the Stars and The Voice battle it out each week in the ratings (and our hearts!), and DWTS judge Bruno Tonioli is not happy about it — and he's not mincing words, either!

"It is stupid that NBC is putting The Voice in the same time slot as us," he told the New York Daily News. "It is not fair for the viewers ... they are the ones losing out."

He added, "if we were on alone, then we would have 5 million more viewers."

Of course, with The Voice consistently beating DWTS in the ratings, we have a feeling the NBC Powers That Be aren't regretting their decision at all.

On the other hand, The Voice doesn't beat DWTS by much, so Bruno might have a point that if the shows weren't going head-to-head, they could both benefit. But with American Idol also in the mix, the TV landscape isn't exactly rife with room for multi-day, mutli-hour reality competition shows.

Are you sad these shows are both on at the same time, or are you only a fan of one? Sound off in the comment below.
