Is Smash Over? Megan Hilty Steps Out After Finale Date Announced
UPDATE: It's official. Smash has been cancelled.
After two seasons — and endless amounts of Broadway sparkle — NBC’s Smash is coming to an end according to Deadline. After a much-hyped series revamp failed to increase viewership for Season 2, Smash was moved to the TV deathslot of Saturday nights.
Deadline reports that the show won’t be renewed for Season 3, which means that this season’s finale will serve as the last episode. But, in a bit of brighter news, the report also claims that Smash’s April 24 finale is getting a definite upgrade. Not only will the final episode be two hours long, but it will switch nights in order to air in a more popular Sunday night timeslot.
The same day Deadline announced that Smash is donezo, the series’ very own blond bombshell, Megan Hilty (Ivy), stepped out in New York City showing some local pride in a Sportiqe Brooklyn Nets Tee. The sports-focused apparel company creates casual sportswear that allows fans to show support for their sports team, and Megan’s fitted navy “Hello Brooklyn” t-shirt couldn’t have looked cuter.
With her hair lightly curled and a pair of stylish sunglasses on her head, Megan showed she definitely knows how to pull off the casual chic vibe. There’s not even a sign of Ivy’s diva attitude here!
