The Voice’s Amanda Brown Congratulates a Season 4 Artist For Her “Steal”

Amanda Brown is the perfect example of a well-used battle rounds “steal” on The Voice. In Season 3 Adam Levine stole her from Team Cee Lo Green, and now that the battle rounds have just ended on Season 4, Amanda has plenty of thoughts on this season’s steals.

In a new blog from Parade Magazine, Amanda notes that Cáthia from Team Shakira was a great pick for coach Usher’s final steal.

I really enjoyed Cáthia and Mary Miranda’s rendition of “Antes de la Seis.” It was classy and well sung, not to mention difficult knowing it’s your coach’s song! This battle was a tough call. It sucks that people have to go home, and I suppose that’s the name of the game, but I’m glad Cáthia gets the chance to perform another day on team Usher — compliments of the good ol’ steal.

Amanda’s steal gave her the opportunity to make it to the Top 6 in Season 3 — no small feat.

And this seasoned veteran has plenty of other favorites thus far. To read some of her top picks, visit her blog at
