Glee 4×20 “Lights Out” Best and Worst Songs — Do You Agree?

Glee manages to pack an insane number of songs into each episode, which means there will always be a few standouts, along with the inevitable dud or two. We've narrowed the performances from Season 4, Episode 20: “Lights Out,” down to the very best and the coulda-done-without. Do you agree with our picks?

Best Performance of the Night: “At the Ballet” by Santana, Rachel, Kurt, and Isabelle

This song was a bit different for Glee between it’s longer length and introspective POV for Santana which is maybe why we loved it so much. The vocals were all amazing, and if you think we’re going to complain about Kurt, Rachel, and Santana all killing it on the same song, you’ve got another thing coming. Throw some adorable kids in the mix, and we’re so there.

Worst Performance of the Night: “Little Girls” by Sue

Not a bad performance per se, but not quite up to snuff with the more emotional numbers in the episode. Let’s face it: This tune felt shoehorned in for no real reason, other than that Jane Lynch is doing this song on Broadway. And while we like Jane’s voice, we prefer it on something a bit peppier, like this season’s Nicki Minaj number. We just hope we didn’t hurt Sue’s “feelings.”

I totally agree!

I would have chosen differently.
