Pretty Little Liars Season 4 Spoilers: Can Wren Be Trusted?

Wren (Julian Morris) has always been a suspicious character in the world of Pretty Little Liars, but he’s never done anything that has made us sure of his loyalties either way. Will we be seeing Wren in Season 4, and can we trust the good doctor? PLL producer Oliver Goldstick says...

“Wren and Cece both will return,” Oliver told Zap2it. “Not right away, but with Wren, it's fun for us to remind the audience your first impression of this person. Don't forget who he was in the first couple episodes, where he cheated on his fiancee with her little sister. He's a flawed character.”

Sounds like Wren may be up to no good in Season 4, and in a more explicit way than he ever has been in the past. (If he’s a villain, then he’s good at covering his tracks...the British accent helps.) Oliver addressed these mixed feelings when it comes to Wren: “We've come to like him, he's helped our girls when they were in trouble a couple times ... but the fact of the matter is, he's not someone we should trust. We should still keep him at arm's length and look at askance, because he came into our world as a cheater."

Don’t worry, Oliver. We haven’t forgotten Wren’s wily ways. Not only does he have his questionable introduction, but his connections to Radley - a Rosewood locale entangled in Ali’s disappearance - and the mysterious Eddie Lamb. He also seems much more interested in the Liars than he needs to be. He has been after Spencer since the beginning, but got close to Hanna when Spence was decidedly with Toby. Are these the actions of a lonely man or someone involved in the “A” game?

Either way, we’re glad to hear Wren will be back. Even if he’s evil, we can’t help but want to keep that charming accent and puppy dog eyes around...
