Real Housewives of Orange County Spoilers: Alexis Admits to Xanax Use

Being on The Real Housewives of Orange County is stressful, no doubt. For Alexis Bellino, it’s been a particularly bumpy ride.

In Season 7, the other Housewives staged a disastrous intervention with Alexis in Costa Rica. Alexis claims she was bullied by her castmates.

In a sneak peek of Real Housewives of Orange County Season 8, Episode 4, Alexis reveals the interactions with her co-stars on the show forced her to go on Xanax.

After being thrown out of Tamra Barney’s party, Alexis seeks shelter in a limo outside and is joined by Lydia McLaughlin and Vicki Gunvalson. Now that her party has been ruined, Tamra goes out to see what’s become of her rogue guests.

While sitting in the limo, Lydia suggests to Alexis that she wasn’t actually bullied.

“It was bullying, and I had to go on Xanax for it Lydia,” Alexis yells, as Tamra stands outside listening.

“Costa Rica blindsided me, and kind of put me into a tailspin,” says Alexis in her confessional. “I did take some medication just to ease all of that.”

Back in the limo, Lydia and Alexis continue to argue about her use of the word “bullying,” with Lydia saying it’s more extreme than what’s actually happening to Alexis.

“For you to say that word, bullying, people kill themselves when other people are bullying them,” Lydia reasons.

“So someone has to die?” Alexis responds. “So I need to go home and slit my wrists for it to be bullying?”

In her confessional, Lydia tells the camera, “I totally support Alexis, but that doesn’t mean i’m going to be saying whatever she wants to hear. That’s not a true friend.”

Will Alexis take Lydia’s critique with grace, or will she continue to be stubborn about the bullying issue?
