On April 29, Team Adam’s country crooner Warren Stone and indie singer Sarah Simmons were pitted against each other on The Voice 2013 knockout rounds. Warren opened the battle with his blues rendition of Cutting Crew’s pop classic “I Just Died in Your Arms Tonight.”

Following Warren’s powerful performance, Sarah gave an equally emotional rendition of “Wild Horses” by The Rolling Stones. The coaches complimented Warren for stepping out of his comfort zone, but all unanimously gave the battle to Sarah.
