On April 30, Team Usher‘s Latin singer Cáthia and soul singer Ryan Innes were pitted/paired against each other on The Voice 2013 knockout rounds. Cáthia started the knockout round with “Mr. Know It All” by Kelly Clarkson, her first English song since joining The Voice.

Ryan ended the night with “I Don’t Wanna Be” by Gavin DeGraw. While the coaches all loved Ryan’s prior performances, this last one wasn’t as great as it could've been, though he definitely conveyed emotions. When it was time to make a decision, Usher chose Cáthia’s melodic song to round out his team for the live shows.
