Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes Dyes Her Hair Green (PHOTO)
Madonna’s oldest daughter Lourdes Leon expressed herself recently by stepping out in New York City sporting vibrant peacock-green streaks in her hair.
According to Pantone, emerald is the color of the year, so it’s difficult to know whether Lourdes is merely trying to be on trend, or doing a youthful rebellion thing, as 16-year-olds will do!
It’s also not clear whether the shade is permanent, or if she’s just having fun with a temporary color change-up. This isn’t the first time that the famous offspring has experimented with her ‘do. She famously shaved the right side of her head last February.
One thing is clear — she probably won’t get much flack from Madonna when it comes to trying out different styles. The pop superstar is known for reinventing herself, and she seems to be cool with letting her kids do the same.
The singer has admitted, however, that she could be a little more strict when it comes to parenting her kids. With Lourdes in particular, she might have the opportunity sooner than she thinks, as her daughter’s relationship with Homeland actor Timothée Chalamet seems to show no signs of slowing down.
On Today last year, Madonna shared, "To be a single mother of four and to work as much as I do, and live my life in a kind of metaphorical fishbowl, it's pretty challenging. But so far I've survived with sanity and humor intact.”
She added, "I'm probably not as tough as I should be. I think I need to maybe be tougher."
