The Voice 2013: Top 5 Artists to Watch in the Live Shows

The battles are over, the knockouts have been won, and now it’s time for the live shows on The Voice 2013. With dozens of artists gracing your small screens throughout the course of the competition, it can be hard to pick out the top singers.

So we’re here with our favorites to help prepare America for the live shows.

In no particular order, here are the Top 5 artists going into the live shows:

1. Sasha Allen (Team Shakira)

There’s just something about the way this girl puts every bit of her gut into each note in her performance. When she’s really feeling a song, it’s obvious, and Shakira landed a major win when she stole her from Adam Levine.

2. Vedo (Team Usher)

The Voice has never quite had the total package. Vedo has it all. His story touches thousands of viewers, his talent is undeniable, and his physical ease on the stage rivals his smooth coach.

3. Judith Hill (Team Adam)

Since the first night of blind auditions, Judith has been a coach favorite. Her soulful vibe paired with her creative song choices and melody alterations prove her staying power as an artist.

4. Danielle Bradbery (Team Blake)

This quiet teen has a big voice. Every time she takes the stage the fullness of her sound blows us away. Hopefully she’ll continue to make decisions creative enough to excite America.

5. Sarah Simmons (Team Adam)

Every once and a while a voice comes along that piques our curiosity. There’s something about Sarah’s angelic tone that effortlessly transitions into a growling grit that continues to surprise and excite us.

Honorable Mention: Amber Carrington (Team Adam)

We’d be remiss to not mention the Cinderella story that is Amber Carrington. This country-singing teen is clearly desperate for a spot on Team Blake, but she should be grateful to still be on the competition’s top team. Amber has managed to destroy top contenders twice. First she beat out Sasha Allen in her battle round and then she took down folk duo Midas Whale, much to her coach’s shock and amazement. We have a feeling this girl’s one to watch.
