Sure, Usher brings his own swag to The Voice 2013, but his outfits lack Papa Cee Lo Green’s signature style. Not only has Ush failed to bring any exotic pets to the reality singing competition, but he hasn’t even had a surprise visit from The Biebs ... or his pet monkey (too soon?).
Luckily, Cee Lo will be back sooner than you think. The “Crazy” singer has already agreed to return as a coach in Season 5 airing this fall, but he will also be making a guest appearance on The Voice stage on May 8.
This special Wednesday night episode marks the first elimination episode on The Voice live shows, and Cee Lo is stopping by to perform his new single, “Only You.”
But Cee Lo’s not the only artist performing in this first results show. Season 2 Team Adam mentor Robin Thicke and Season 3 mentors — Pharrell Williams and Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum — will all be making appearances as well. Rapper T.I. and the iconic Rod Stewart will also take the stage, proving we might not even make it to the eliminations.
