Game of Thrones’s Emilia Clarke to Play Stripper in James Franco Film
Nothing's sexier than dragons, right?
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys on HBO's Game of Thrones, has just been cast as a stripper in a new film to be directed by James Franco, according to Hollywood Reporter.
The film, The Garden of Last Days, will be adapted from a novel by Andre Dubus III.
The movie will involve three intertwined stories, one of which features Emilia's stripper character bringing her three-year-old daughter with her to the gentleman's club. Nothing wrong with "bring your daughter to work" day, right?
It's likely that the movie will begin shooting in July.
Emilia has been staying busy, with Game of Thrones Season 3 currently airing. She also recently wrapped up her work on a crime film called Dom Hemingway, co-starring Jude Law.
James Franco is known mostly as an actor, but he is nothing if not a jack-of-all-trades. He has previously directed a handful of films, but they were all low-profile indies.
Another Hollywood hunk who will be working behind the scenes on this film is Gerard Butler, who is onboard as a producer.
This film is certainly good news for Emilia's fans, as she continues to advance her career. However, many of her fans are probably still hoping that she'll get cast as Anastasia in Fifty Shades of Grey. No official casting announcement has yet been made on that film.
And we wonder if the fact that she's signed on for this movie means Emilia wouldn't be available for Fifty Shades, which would probably also need to go into production very soon.
So do you think Emilia will make a good stripper? Or would you rather see her enjoy a little bondage?
