American Idol

Guess Which American Idol 2013 Hopeful Is the Odds-On Favorite to Win?

Wondering who will win American Idol 2013? Are you willing to bet on it? Many have already laid down some cold, hard cashola on just this very thing and, according to Bovada Sportsbook, as of April 30, once favorited Angie Miller has regained the lead. Will she become the next American Idol winner? The odds say it yes, for the moment.

The Boston-area native is the odds-on winner with 7/4 odds. She made a few missteps about a month ago, but these odds aren’t all that surprising after watching her steal the night and, as Nicki Minaj said, “snatch some wigs,” last Wednesday. She’s also had a ton of online followers since that unforgettable performance of her original song, “You Set Me Free,” during Hollywood Week.

Despite being in the bottom two on Thursday’s results show, Candice Glover is just behind Angie with 9/5 odds. Frankly, we were shocked to see her in the bottom last week, and these odds seem just about right for Nicki’s “Candi Girl.”

Nearly neck and neck with Candice, however, is former frontrunner Kree Harrison, who has 9/4 odds to snag the American Idol crown. We might not be willing to bet on it, but we have a feeling she might close that gap this week. The spoilers have her singing Carrie Underwood’s “See You Again” and “Stormy Weather”. If she can get her emotion to match her vocals this week, we could easily see her in the finale.

Not all that surprisingly, Amber Holcomb is the long shot. Her odds are winning are 15/2! Ouch! We love a dark horse but, due to her lack of traction in the social media sites, we just can’t see Amber winning season 12 either.

If you had to bet right now, who will win American Idol 2013? Who do you want to win?
