Who Should Go Home on American Idol 2013 From the Top 4? 5/1/2013
As they say, the show must go on.
No one was sent home on American Idol 2013 last week, leaving us with the Top 4 to perform for us again tonight. But this week there are no more saves, meaning we’ll have to say goodbye to one of our lovely Season 12 finalists.
So who should go home from the American Idol Season 12 Top 4?
Angie started off the show on shaky ground with her take on Rihanna’s “Diamonds.” Although she performed at the piano (a move the judges always seem to love), she failed to impress with her unique arrangement of the song. She redeemed herself though with a lovely rendition of “Someone to Watch Over Me,” which she dedicated to her mother.
Similarly, Kree’s first performance of Carrie Underewood’s “See You Again” received lukewarm praise. The judges continue to complain that she isn’t connecting emotionally with her songs, which Kree is probably tired of hearing at this point. Next, she sang the classic tune “Stormy Weather, “which also got a mediocre review from the judges. Keith Urban thinks she should have chosen a different song, and Nicki Minaj agreed (but not before proclaiming her love for “Kreedom”).
Candice Glover was the star of the evening, receiving a standing ovation from the judges (the only one of the night, we might add) for her rendition of “You’ve Changed.” Amber Holcomb also put in a great effort with her versions of Pink’s “Just Give Me a Reason” and later “My Funny Valentine.”
But who do you think should be sent home from the Top 4? Vote in our poll below and let us know!
